A Butterfly Baby Shower
I am excited to announce that my family is awaiting the arrival of a new little titan! This past weekend we were able to celebrate the special occasion with the new mother and father to be, one of whom included my little sister! Most of my family consists of men, so you can imagine the excitement when we found out she was having a girl! My sister has been fond of butterfly's since we were little, so it only seemed fitting to throw her a butterfly baby shower courtesy of my mother! She put a lot of hard work and creativity into the shower, and it turned out so beautifully that I had to share it with everyone!
Color inspiration for the shower came from a Lambs & Ivy Butterfly Mobile that Melissa had picked out for the babies room. My mom displayed it in the middle of the living room and hung strands of DIY butterfly garland across the ceiling. Most of the decor was either handmade by my mother or picked up from the Hobby Lobby party aisle.
The shower was made extra fun with some of our favorite outside baby shower games- 'the cotton ball game' & 'tinkle in the potty'. Atlas loved putting the balloon up his shirt and walked around acting pregnant all day! It was hilarious, and don't worry I snapped a photo of him below so you could have a laugh. The weather was beautiful and I was so happy to see both Melissa & Jeffery having fun! I wish they could have stayed in town longer, but back to LA they went with baby in tote. I hope you enjoy our photos of this special day, and stayed tuned for the arrival of our new little titan in January!
Mother and Father are still deciding on baby girls names. If you have any idea for a sweet baby girl name, leave it for us in the comments section below. Thank you for joining and please wish the parents to be a big congratulations!
Until our next adventure,
A Titan's Mother
