For me nothing says spring more than pastel and linen, and today I'm sharing my favorite linen pieces for spring include these pastel blue linen shorts from Old Navy. When I saw these blue linen shorts at our local Old Navy I knew I had to have them for Spring. Since I'm normally chasing after a toddler in the Texas heat, you can pretty much always find me in shorts, midi-skirts or dresses this time of year.
I particularly love these shorts because of the gorgeous pastel blue color and the fact that they can be worn straight into summer. With the heat here in Texas a nice light linen is perfect for our weather, and I plan on dressing these up and down all Summer long! They also come in a stone and black for a more minimal look, and a super cute stripe that I think I definitely need. There is also a blush pair that I love in a slightly different style, but look just as cozy! I have unfortunately learned in the past that I have to stay away from anything blush on my bottom half, or I tend to look like I'm not wearing pants. Haha! Blush just washes me out too much which really stinks because I love the color! All of these shorts are currently a steal at Old Navy for under $15.00 so you might as well get at least two colors!
I am wearing my trusty Kate Spade mini Hayden in blush pink which my husband got me this past Christmas from Amazon! I can't find the light pink version on currently on Amazon, but they do have this rouge pink version which is just as lovely, especially for spring. They also have this lemonade color which would be beautiful for summer! I carry my mini Hayden everywhere with me and my husband calls it my miniature purse because it is so tiny. What's funny is that I have a larger one almost identical that I hardly use anymore because I can't stand totting around a big handbag with Atlas. I do love both of my pink handbags though and normally use my larger one for date nights!
I also wearing an allover lace shirt which I find myself pairing with something at least once a week! I got this one during my trip to Palm Springs at a boutique in downtown, but there is a similar one here from Target.
Guess who helped me take these pictures, that's right the little titan himself! I finally got a new clicker for my camera to help me take full body pictures of our outfits and Atlas is in love with it! He was jumping behind the camera making it take pictures of me and saying 'cute mom'. I couldn't stop giggling he was so silly and sweet! Thanks for stopping by and I hope you get to pick up some of these linen pieces for the warmer weather.
Until our next adventure,
A Titan's Mother
