Thank you to Carhartt for sponsoring this product review.
Summer break is coming to a close and it's hard to believe the back to school season is already here! In Texas most kiddos are headed back to school this week for the beginning of the Fall semester, and I still can't believe summer is coming to a close! Atlas hasn't started pre-school yet but he is going back to Mother's Day Out at the beginning of September. We have been very fortunate to find a great Mother's Day Out program here in Texas and Atlas has been asking me about school all summer long. He is so excited to go back and see all his friends again and I am so happy he is looking forward to it.
This past weekend we did some back to school shopping for Atlas and he is almost ready for Fall. When I was a kid I remember getting so excited for back to school shopping, but I think I get more excited now as a mom then I did as a kid. I love picking out new clothes and back to school essentials for Atlas, and I hope he lets me pick out his clothes until he graduates from high school. Probably wishful thinking....but a mom can dream right?
Carhartt sent Atlas one of their new unisex trade backpacks for us to review and we are loving it to compliment his back to school style. Carhartt just introduced their new line of junior backpacks and they are available for both girls and boys in a variety of different styles. The new line of junior backpacks are made with the same durable canvas and detailed construction as the Carhartt work bags and are perfect for the playground and for the classroom. Atlas is wearing the Trade Backpack in Camo which I have linked at the end of this style post. The backpack was a little big on him, but to me that just means growing room which I am totally okay with. One more year and it will fit him perfectly for pre-school. We love the camo style for Fall and I styled his backpack with a pair of black skinny jeans, a tweed vest, and white converse. All product links are at the end of this post. By the way Atlas has been in love with backpacks recently. He likes to put all his toys in his backpack when we go anywhere and I think it is so cute! He used to put them in mommy's purse and so I'm liking the idea of him carrying his own backpack...but let's be real mommy and daddy end up carrying it once he get's tired.
I want to wish a good luck to all the mamas out there who's little ones are starting pre-k this year. Atlas still has a couple more years before he starts, but I keep wishing he would stop getting bigger and bigger. I hope you enjoyed picking out some back to school clothes for your little ones. I have linked our favorite Carhartt backpacks for pre-school boys plus Atlas's outfit details below. If you love the Carhartt brand as much as we do, you should also check out this post I wrote this past year of Atlas in his Carhartt overalls. It is one of my favorite posts since I've started blogging because I share about my childhood and growing up in the country. We would love to know your thoughts about the new backpack line in our comments section below! Shop them for both boys and girls here:
Which is your favorite backpack?
We received this backpack from Carhartt in exchange for a review. All opinions expressed in this post are my own.
